How to Sign Up

Volunteering opportunities are posted, and sign-ups are managed through our team website. Please keep your email address current on your TeamUnify account to receive timely notifications.

Swim Meet Volunteering - The number of jobs (such as timing chairs, officials, etc.) assigned by the host team to each participating team is contingent upon the number of swimmers entered by the team. Failure to provide the required number of volunteers during the meet results in penalties for our team.

*IF you are unable to work at the meet, do NOT sign your swimmer/s up for the meet.

*IF you have a swimmer registered for a meet, it’s mandatory that you sign up to volunteer. Even if you have met your quarterly point requirement, you may still be required to volunteer at the meet.

*For meets with numerous jobs to fill, families should anticipate signing up for and working on multiple shifts.

The sign up sheet for swim meet volunteer shifts are typically posted on our website as soon as we receive the requirements from the host team. This can be as early a couple of weeks before or as late as the week of the meet.

*Families are expected to read their sign-up notifications, reminder emails, and check our team website to understand job requirements

*Any unfilled shifts will be distributed to families attending the meet

IF you are unable to fulfill a shift you signed up for or one assigned to you, it is your responsibility to find a replacement to cover your shift. A No Show penalty of -5 points is applied for each missed shift.

IF your swimmer is registered for a meet but cannot attend due to illness or other conflict, you are still obligated to fulfill your shift/s or arrange for another family to cover your shift/s. A No Show penalty of -5 points is applied for each missed shift.
